Hey all! Have you ever wondered how bridges hold up tons and tons of cars at once? Well, here is your chance to embrace an educational experience! I hope you enjoy my site with types of bridges, as well as bridge disasters! Enjoy!(:
The first bridge is the Golden Gate Bridge. It is located in San Fransico, California. This is my very favorite bridge because it is in the opening theme of my favorite child hood T.V. show, "Full House."
The second bridge is the Mackinac Bridge. The bridge is located is Mackinaw City, and St. Ignace, Michigan. It crosses the Straits of Mackinac, helping people get from one Peninsula to another. I chose this bridge because it reminds me of a trip I took with my family to Sault St. Marie as a child.
The third bridge I chose is the world famous Tower Bridge. It is in London, England. I chose this bridge because I have always wanted to visit London and go across this bridge!

This is the time lapse of the building of the Hoover Dam bridge. I learned the process of building bridges as I watched this video.
This is the Tacoma Narrows Bridge being damaged in a wind storm. It taught me that some bridges need to be built stronger to be able to handle higher winds.
